Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical Consultants are taking extra steps to ensure patient safety while receiving care at our clinics. All Doctors and staff will be wearing up to date personal protective equipment or PPE, to help protect patients and themselves. Each individual, isolated surgical room is cleaned thoroughly, and new sterilized equipment is used with each patient. In addition to all of this, OMSC has done renovations to each clinic and each surgical room by implementing negative pressure systems. Negative room pressure is used in hospitals and other health care facilities to greatly lower chance of cross contamination and patient risk. During this process, air is flowing into the room but not out. The air is cycled and expelled through a filtration system away from all patients. Implementing this technology, allows us to provide up to 99% new filtered air into each surgical suite for every patient. With these measures, along with other safety protocols, OMSC is working to ensure some of the safest, effective, and caring oral surgery possible.
In accordance with CDC and State guidelines, OMSC still requires that patients wear a mask when entering our facilities.
